Damn Fine

We're in month #9 and I'm feelin' damn fine! Happy fall! Labor day has passed, so it might be illegal to wear white, but I'm feeling like a rule-breaker rn. (It doesn't help that it's 90 degrees outside, amirite?) I snagged this sheer striped dress from Coco Brookside at their end-of-summer sidewalk sale, and I'm just not ready to pack it up for the year yet. I love it because you can wear it over the white slip dress, like I did here, for a pretty feminine look, or you can wear it over a black tank and shorts, for kind of an edgy feel.

I'm also loving pastels for fall! All kinds of coats and jackets in heavy textures are coming out in pastels, so I thought, what the heck, I'm already wearing white, I might as well look like a lil spring chicken here. A pink beret I snagged in Paris was the perfect topper, and I went with tinted pink shades to add a trendy twist. I also got these shiny white kitten heels in Paris, so I thought they would be a good tie-in. A lavender bag rounds out the pastel-retro ensemble perfectly.

If you haven't seen the mural where I snapped these pics in Kansas City, it's on the side of Unbakery and Juicery, and great place to snag vitamin-packed juices that are mighty tasty. The mural was painted by The Boozy Bungalow, formerly Festive AF.

What's got you feeling damn fine these days? Let me know in the comments! For me, it's finishing up house projects that have been in the works for a long time! I love all the fun events of summer, but I'm so glad for some down time to feel productive.
